Enrollment by Location at Time of Admission

The dashboard provides a geographic overview of student enrollment at New Mexico State University's Las Cruces Campus for Fall 2023, segmented by the location at the time of admission, specifically by county within New Mexico. The map shows the distribution of 9,254 students across various counties, with Dona Ana County contributing the highest number of students at 5,117. Other counties with significant enrollment numbers include Bernallio with 819 students, Otero with 445, and Eddy with 254 students.

Smaller counties such as Catron, De Baca, and Harding have fewer students enrolled, each contributing under 10 students. The map also accounts for 14 students whose county information is unknown. This geographic distribution is crucial for understanding the university's reach within the state and for tailoring recruitment efforts to specific regions. The data provides valuable insights into the origins of the student body, helping the university to better serve its diverse population and to focus on areas with potential for increased enrollment.

The dashboard allows filtering by County and semester.
