The NMSU Factbook presents comprehensive data about the NMSU community. The following is the Staff Factbook. These visualizations cover a wide array of demographic, biographical and institutional information about our students, our employees, and our administration. 

The dashboard presents a detailed overview of staff statistics at New Mexico State University's Las Cruces Campus as of November 1, 2023, the data shows the various aspects such as staff type, status, employment classification, race/ethnicity, gender, and full-time/part-time status. The data shows that the majority of the staff, 85%, are classified as regular employees, totaling 2,081 individuals, while 15% are temporary staff (370 individuals), and only a small number are affiliated (2 individuals). 

In terms of staff status, 62% of the staff (1,523 individuals) are classified as exempt, while 38% (930 individuals) are non-exempt. The distribution by race/ethnicity reveals that 57% of the staff are minorities (1,407 individuals), while 43% are non-minorities (1,046 individuals). Gender distribution indicates that 56% of the staff are female, comprising 1,368 individuals, and 44% are male, totaling 1,085 individuals. 

Regarding employment status, the majority of the staff, 82% (2,013 individuals), are full-time employees, while 18% (440 individuals) are part-time. This dashboard provides valuable insights into the composition and diversity of the staff at NMSU's Las Cruces Campus, offering a comprehensive look at the demographic makeup and employment classifications within the staff body.
