The Office of Institutional Analysis and senior administrators are regularly informed by surveying various constituencies within the University community. We conduct these surveys independently, as well as in conjunction with outside consortiums and other University offices/departments. Our office handles the administration, analysis,and distribution of a variety of different institutional- and national-level surveys about NMSU.
National Survey of Student Engagement

The National Survey of Student Engagement collects information about how first-year and senior student participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and student development. |

Alumni Survey |
The Alumni Survey (Summer, 2017) was designed to assess the effectiveness of programs offered by higher education institutions, and provide alumni input about their experience as an undergraduate at NMSU. The survey reached back to five alumni cohorts of one, five, ten, fifteen, and twenty years. The information collected will help improve employment and career placement information at both the program and university level, while also highlighting the level of creativity, preparedness, and identity NMSU fosters in its alumni. |  2017 |
Viewing a Wider World Survey |
The Viewing a Wider World (VWW) Survey, initiated by The Associated Students of New Mexico State University (ASNMSU), in collaboration with the Faculty Senate, was designed to capture student experiences with and attitudes towards the NMSU, Las Cruces Viewing a Wider World requirements. |  2015-2016 |
Graduating Student Survey |

Employee Satisfaction Survey |
NMSU’s Office of Institutional Analysis (OIA) contracted with Noel-Levitz, an educational consulting firm, to conduct the 2014 Employee Satisfaction Survey on the request of the Employee Council and The Diversity Council. President Garrey Carruthers plans to use the results of this survey to improve the employment experience of all employees across the NMSU system. |  2014 |
